The Free Chart — Official MCP Server

Official Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server for The Free Chart trading platform.

Connect any AI assistant (Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, Zed, Antigravity, Open-WebUI, LibreChat) to your trading journal to analyze winrate, monitor risk-to-reward, diagnose psychological biases (FOMO, Revenge Trading), and receive continuous AI trading coaching.

⚡ Quick Setup

1. Claude Desktop

Add to your claude_desktop_config.json:

• MacOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json

• Windows: %APPDATA%/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json

• Linux: ~/.config/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json

2. Cursor IDE / Windsurf

1. Open Cursor Settings -> Features -> MCP Servers.

2. Click + Add New MCP Server:

   • Name: The Free Chart

   • Type: command

   • Command: python3 /path/to/thefreechart-mcp/server.py

   • Env: THEFREECHART_API_KEY=your_key_here

3. Smithery (1-Click Install)
