| KIRO_API_KEY | No | API key used to authenticate the kiro-cli backend when spawning agent child processes. If not set, the server relies on an existing kiro-cli login under `$HOME`. | |
| AGENT_TIMEOUT_MS | No | Per-run timeout for each agent child process, in milliseconds. Default is 300000 (5 minutes). | |
| AGENT_WORKFLOWS_DIR | No | Path to a directory containing `agents/` and `workflows/` definition folders; overrides the server's built-in definitions. Use this to serve your own agents/workflows instead of the bundled ones (security note: only point it at a directory you control, never a checked-out PR). |
