Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| REBAR_ROOT | No | Path to the repository root. Falls back to git toplevel of the working directory if not set. | |
| REBAR_MCP_READONLY | No | If set to a truthy value (1, true, yes), expose only read-only tools. | |
| REBAR_MCP_ALLOW_JIRA_SYNC | No | If set to a truthy value (1, true, yes), allow live Jira sync (reconcile can be live). Default is dry-run. |
