**What axon adds today** (all opt-in, local-first with [Ollama](https://ollama.com)):

- 🗣️ **AI subscription setup** — describe what you want in plain language in the web app;
  the assistant proposes topics, filters and priorities for you to review and apply
- 🔧 **AI subscription tuning** — "only page me for real emergencies at night"
- ✍️ **Inline enrichment** — long alert messages get summarized into titles and an
  importance estimate, with instant pass-through when the AI is slow
- 📰 **Topic digests** — "summarize the last 7 days" as a structured briefing
- 💬 **Ask your history** — questions about a topic's recent messages, answered with
  citations to the actual messages
- 🤖 **MCP server for AI agents** — `ntfy mcp` lets Claude & co. publish, wait for
  replies, and read history; scoped agent tokens included (`ntfy token add --scope=ai`)

Every AI call runs through a provider abstraction (OpenAI-compatible, Anthropic, Ollama),
an LRU response cache, and per-visitor + global daily token budgets. See

**ntfy** (pronounced "*notify*") is a simple HTTP-based [pub-sub](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Publish%E2%80%93subscribe_pattern) 
notification service. With ntfy, you can **send notifications to your phone or desktop via scripts** from any computer, 
**without having to sign up or pay any fees**. If you'd like to run your own instance of the service, you can easily do 
so since ntfy is open source.
