# Bot12 MCP Server

A complete, production-ready MCP (Model Context Protocol) server template that converts your bot12 trading bot into tools that Claude and other AI assistants can use.

## Quick Start

### 1. Install Dependencies
```bash
pip install -r requirements.txt
```

### 2. Configure Environment
```bash
cp .env.example .env
# Edit .env with your bot12 credentials
```

### 3. Customize the Server
Edit `bot12_mcp_template.py` and replace the 4 TODO helper functions with your actual bot12 code.

### 4. Run the Server
```bash
python bot12_mcp_template.py
```

### 5. Test with MCP Inspector
```bash
npx @modelcontextprotocol/inspector python bot12_mcp_template.py
```

### 6. Add to Claude Desktop
Edit `~/.config/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json`:

## Tools Available

### Account & Positions
- `get_account_balance()` - Get balance and equity
- `get_active_positions()` - List open positions  
- `get_market_price(symbol)` - Get bid/ask prices

### Trading Operations
- `execute_trade(symbol, quantity, direction, ...)` - Place a trade
- `close_position(position_id)` - Close a position

### Reporting
- `get_trade_history(limit, symbol)` - View past trades
- `generate_performance_report(start_date, end_date)` - Get statistics

### System
- `get_system_status()` - Check bot health
- `get_bot_logs(limit, level)` - View recent logs
