Zendesk MCP Server

Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

`ZENDESK_EMAIL`	No	The email address of the Zendesk user to authenticate as. Only used with the deprecated API token authentication.
`ZENDESK_API_KEY`	No	A Zendesk API token paired with ZENDESK_EMAIL. Deprecated; API tokens stop working permanently on 2027-04-30 and are being retired sooner. Use OAuth via ZENDESK_CLIENT_ID instead.
`ZENDESK_CLIENT_ID`	No	The Identifier of your registered public OAuth client. When set, OAuth authentication takes precedence over API token authentication.
`ZENDESK_SUBDOMAIN`	No	Your Zendesk subdomain, e.g. 'acme' for https://acme.zendesk.com
`ZENDESK_TOKEN_FILE`	No	Location where OAuth tokens are stored. Defaults to ~/.config/zendesk-mcp/tokens.json. Set this when storing tokens elsewhere, for example a Docker volume.	$XDG_CONFIG_HOME/zendesk-mcp/tokens.json
`ZENDESK_OAUTH_SCOPES`	No	Override the default OAuth scopes requested by the server. Defaults to 'tickets:read tickets:write ticket_attachments:read users:read hc:read'. For read-only access use 'tickets:read users:read hc:read'.
`ZENDESK_OAUTH_REDIRECT_URI`	No	The OAuth redirect URI. Change it if port 4567 is in use, or if the client is registered with a different redirect URL. Must match a redirect URL on the client exactly.	http://localhost:4567/callback
