Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| MSAD_DOMAIN | No | Default domain when a tool call omits `domain`. Overrides the `[defaults] domain` setting in the msad config file. | |
| MCP_TRANSPORT | No | MCP transport to use. Can be 'stdio', 'streamable-http', or 'sse'. Defaults to 'stdio'. | stdio |
| MSAD_CONFIG_FILE | No | Path to an alternative TOML configuration file. Defaults to ~/.msad.toml if not set. | |
| KRB5_CLIENT_KTNAME | No | Path to a Kerberos keytab file, used when running as an unattended service instead of relying on a kinit ticket cache. |
