Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| ALLOWED_ORIGINS | Yes | Comma-separated exact browser origins; leave empty to reject all present origins. | |
| CODEX_MCP_TOKEN | Yes | Different private bearer token used by Codex and the runner. Must contain at least 32 characters. | |
| INDEX_MCP_TOKEN | Yes | Private bearer token used only by Index. Must contain at least 32 characters. |
