Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| MCP_GATEWAY_TOKEN | Yes | Bearer token required by the auth middleware for the /mcp route. Every request must carry `Authorization: Bearer <MCP_GATEWAY_TOKEN>`. No token configured means the server refuses to start at all. |
