# x402-money-reactor

**Money Reactor** — a pay-per-call API for AI agents and bots. No signup, no API keys, no rate-limit dance: the payment **is** the auth. Every call is settled on-chain in **USDC on Base** via the [x402](https://www.x402.org) protocol (HTTP 402 + EIP-3009 `transferWithAuthorization`).

## How a paid call works

1. Call any paid endpoint **without** a key → you get **HTTP 402** with an x402 `accepts` payload.
2. Your x402 client (or EIP-3009 wallet) signs a USDC `transferWithAuthorization` on Base.
3. Repeat the request with the `X-PAYMENT` header → **200 OK** with the data.

Or drive the settlement yourself with any Base signer — the 402 payload is a standard EIP-3009 `transferWithAuthorization` to the `payTo` address (USDC, 6 decimals).

The service speaks MCP natively: point any MCP client at

## Public ledger — verify everything

No key needed: `GET https://money-reactor.makar52nn2016.workers.dev/api/status`
returns `paymentsTotal` and `recentPayments` with on-chain tx hashes. Every
payment that ever settled is public.
