Servidor MCP CalDAV es un servidor del Protocolo de Contexto de Modelo (MCP) para gestionar eventos del Calendario de iCloud, con soporte nativo para múltiples recordatorios VALARM en un mismo evento.
El Calendario de iCloud es el único proveedor compatible oficialmente y validado manualmente en la primera versión. El servidor funciona con cualquier cliente MCP que admita stdio o HTTP Streamable.
Este proyecto independiente no está afiliado, autorizado, patrocinado ni aprobado por Apple Inc. Apple e iCloud son marcas comerciales de sus respectivos propietarios.

El servidor conecta una cuenta configurada a iCloud a través de CalDAV. Descubre los calendarios de la cuenta y expone operaciones normalizadas de lectura y escritura a través de MCP.
Las actualizaciones conservan el recurso iCalendar completo, incluidas propiedades desconocidas, extensiones de Apple, VTIMEZONE, excepciones de recurrencia y alarmas omitidas en un parche. Las escrituras utilizan identificadores de recurso opacos y ETags en lugar de asumir que un nombre de archivo CalDAV coincide con un UID de evento.
Los recursos de calendario se procesan en memoria. El servidor no tiene telemetría ni base de datos de aplicación, y el iCalendar sin procesar se devuelve solo cuando se solicita explícitamente.

list_calendars
Lista los calendarios descubiertos para la cuenta configurada. Cada resultado incluye un calendar_id opaco, nombre para mostrar, descripción, zona horaria y estado de escritura de mejor esfuerzo.
list_events
Lista eventos en un intervalo semiabierto y expande las ocurrencias recurrentes. El rango máximo es de 366 días, el tamaño de página predeterminado es 100 y el tamaño máximo de página es 500. Los resultados usan un orden cronológico determinista. Los cursores de paginación son opacos y no representan una instantánea cuando los eventos se modifican durante el recorrido.

Parchea un evento o una serie recurrente completa. Los campos omitidos se conservan, null elimina un campo anulable y alarms: [] elimina todas las alarmas. Un expected_etag opcional evita sobrescribir una versión más reciente del servidor.

El núcleo conserva una política de proveedor generic experimental y una URL configurable para mantener las extensiones de Apple aisladas de la implementación iCalendar compartida. Actualmente no se reclama compatibilidad con otros proveedores.
Los secretos deben proporcionarse a través de la plataforma de implementación o el entorno. Nunca confirme .env, pase credenciales como argumentos de herramientas MCP ni las incluya en informes de diagnóstico.

Claude Desktop (Docker, stdio)
Claude Desktop inicia servidores stdio locales como subprocesos. Ejecutar el contenedor publicado de esta manera mantiene la contraseña específica de la aplicación en la máquina del cliente y no abre ningún puerto de red, lo que coincide con la guía de transporte en Limitaciones.

Cree y ubique el archivo de configuración a través de Configuración -> Desarrollador -> Editar configuración. No asuma una ruta. Cuando Claude Desktop se instala desde Microsoft Store, Windows redirige %APPDATA%\Claude al contenedor del paquete y el archivo se encuentra en:

Use la ruta absoluta a docker.exe, porque PATH dentro del contenedor del paquete no es confiable. where docker la imprime, típicamente C:\Program Files\Docker\Docker\resources\bin\docker.exe. Las barras invertidas deben escaparse en JSON.
Los formatos de configuración difieren entre clientes MCP. Consulte la documentación del cliente para su esquema exacto y recargue o reinicie después de cambiar la definición del servidor.

Limitaciones
Se configura una cuenta de iCloud por proceso de servidor o contenedor.
El endpoint HTTP Streamable no tiene autenticación en la versión actual. Restríjalo a una LAN confiable, VPN o red de contenedores privada; no lo exponga directamente a Internet.
Las ocurrencias de recurrencia individuales son de solo lectura. Se admite actualizar o eliminar la serie completa.
Solo se crean alarmas
ACTION:DISPLAY.Los recursos iCalendar individuales están limitados a 5 MiB.
Los rangos de listas de eventos están limitados a 366 días y las páginas a 500 resultados.
Los eventos pueden contener como máximo 20 alarmas.
La programación de asistentes está fuera del alcance actual.
Los proveedores distintos de iCloud no son compatibles oficialmente.

Each tool has a clear, distinct purpose: calendar discovery, range listing, single-event retrieval, create, update, and delete. get_event and list_events are explicitly differentiated as single-item lookup versus range search.
All tool names follow a consistent verb_noun snake_case pattern, with appropriate pluralization for list operations. This makes the tool set predictable and easy to navigate.
Six tools is well-scoped for a CalDAV server: calendar discovery plus full event CRUD. There is no bloat and no unnecessary overlap.
