Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| BBS_KNOWLEDGE_ROOT | No | Override the default location for the knowledge base (menus, prompts, flows). By default, knowledge is stored in platform-specific user data directories (e.g., ~/.local/share/mcp-bbs on Linux, ~/Library/Application Support/mcp-bbs on macOS). |
