Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| VAULT_PATH | No | Path to your Obsidian vault. Without VAULT_PATH, the server uses the repository's sample-vault/ (AI engineering study notes). To use your own vault, point VAULT_PATH at it. | |
| VAULT_CACHE_DIR | No | Directory for the semantic index cache (default is .cache/). | |
| VAULT_EMBED_MODEL | No | The local embedding model to use (default is paraphrase-multilingual-mpnet-base-v2). | |
| VAULT_RERANK_MODEL | No | The cross-encoder reranker model to use (default is jina-reranker-v2-base-multilingual). | |
| VAULT_UNTRUSTED_WRAP | No | Set to 0 to disable labeling of ler_nota output as untrusted data (default is enabled). |
