StageFlow MCP
Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.
| Name | Required | Description | Default |
|---|---|---|---|
| STAGEFLOW_TOKEN | No | The credential for the backend, sent in the Authorization header (or the header named by --auth-header). Equivalent to the --token flag. Without one you are whatever that backend calls an anonymous caller. | |
| STAGEFLOW_BRIDGE | No | Enables the bridge to an open editor (the show_in_editor and get_editor_graph tools). Equivalent to the --bridge flag. Off unless asked for. | |
| STAGEFLOW_EDITOR | No | Points the bridge link at a copy of the editor you serve yourself, e.g. http://127.0.0.1:8080/. Equivalent to the --editor flag. | |
| STAGEFLOW_BACKEND | No | The URL of the StageFlow backend, e.g. https://stageflow.lazy.su. Equivalent to the --backend flag. With no --backend the first tool that needs one asks through the MCP client's own prompt; the answer is remembered in ~/.config/stageflow-mcp/config.json. localhost:8765, http://localhost:8765/ and .../api all mean one backend. A bare hostname gets https:// unless it is loopback. | |
| STAGEFLOW_AUTH_HEADER | No | The header used to carry the credential, if it is not Authorization. Equivalent to the --auth-header flag. |
