# Gemini Veo MCP

A simple Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for generating videos using Google Gemini Veo.

## Setup

1. **Install Dependencies:**
   ```bash
   npm install
   ```

2. **Configure API Key:**
   Update the `.env` file with your Google Gemini API Key:
   ```env
   GEMINI_API_KEY=your_actual_key_here
   ```

3. **Build:**
   ```bash
   npx tsc
   ```

## Using with Claude Code

### Option 1: Claude CLI (Recommended)
Run this command to add the MCP server automatically to your configuration:

```bash
claude mcp add gemini-veo --scope user -- node /Users/iser/workspace/gemini-veo-mcp/dist/index.js
```

### Option 2: Manual Config
Add this to your Claude config (`~/.claude.json`):

## Tools

### `generate_video`
Generates a video based on a text prompt.
- `prompt`: (string) Description of the video.
- `aspect_ratio`: (string, optional) "16:9", "9:16", or "1:1".
