Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| EDGAR_FROZEN_DIR | No | Serve saved responses only; the network is never used. | |
| EDGAR_RECORD_DIR | No | Save every live response there as a frozen copy. | |
| EDGAR_USER_AGENT | Yes | Your name and email, e.g. `Jane Doe jane@example.com`. The SEC asks every client to identify itself this way. Without it no request is sent, and tools that need the SEC answer `NO_USER_AGENT`. | |
| EDGAR_COMPANY_INDEX | No | A company index file for `search_companies` to use instead of the built or bundled one. |
