Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| LOCAL_CODER_API_KEY | No | API key used to authenticate with the model endpoint. Set in the MCP process environment, or use the config file's apiKeyEnv field to point to a different variable name. If unset, no Authorization header is sent. | |
| STRATA_CODER_CONFIG | No | Absolute path to the Strata Coder configuration file. Takes precedence over LOCAL_CODER_CONFIG. If neither is set, the server falls back to --config, then searches for .strata-coder/config.json in the current directory, then strata-coder.config.json / local-coder.config.json next to the entry point. |
