# iptorrents MCP Server

MCP (Model Context Protocol) server for searching and downloading torrents from iptorrents.com.

## Features

- Search torrents with filtering and sorting
- Browser cookie-based authentication (no automated login due to Cloudflare Turnstile)
- Torrent metadata extraction (seeders, leechers, size, category, etc.)
- Freeleech detection

## Installation

```bash
pip install -e .
```

## Usage

Set environment variables for iptorrents authentication:

```bash
export IPTORRENTS_UID="<your_uid_cookie>"
export IPTORRENTS_PASS="<your_pass_cookie>"
export IPTORRENTS_CF_CLEARANCE="<cf_clearance_if_needed>"
```

Get cookies from iptorrents.com:
1. Open https://iptorrents.com in browser
2. Sign in
3. Open DevTools (F12)
4. Go to Storage → Cookies → iptorrents.com
5. Copy values for `uid`, `pass`, and `cf_clearance`

Run the server:
```bash
python -m iptorrents_mcp.main
```

## Tools

### search_iptorrents

Search for torrents on iptorrents.com

**Parameters:**
- `query` (string, required): Search query
- `limit` (integer): Maximum results (default: 10)
- `sort` (string): Sort field (seeders, leechers, size, downloads, name, age)

**Example:**
```
search_iptorrents("The Office", limit=5, sort="seeders")
```
