Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| ENGRAM_SEARCH | No | Set to `hybrid` to enable hybrid search (FTS5 full-text plus semantic vector layer). Requires `pip install "piia-engram[vector]"`. | |
| ENGRAM_APPROVAL | No | Set to `strict` to require approval for every write. Otherwise low/medium writes are auto-absorbed but auditable and reversible. | |
| ENGRAM_NO_UPDATE_CHECK | No | Set to `1` to turn off the PyPI update check. |
