# 🇮🇱 Israel Weather MCP

## Description

This project implements an MCP Server that provides Israeli weather forecasts using browser automation.

Instead of using a weather API, the MCP uses Playwright to control a real browser and extract information from:

https://www.weather2day.co.il/forecast


## Technologies

## How it works

The user asks a weather question.

Example:

"מה מזג האוויר בירושלים?"

The Agent:

1. Opens Chromium browser using Playwright.
2. Navigates to weather2day.
3. Enters the requested city.
4. Selects the city from the autocomplete list.
5. Extracts weather information.
6. Returns a natural language answer.


## MCP Tools

### open_weather_forecast_israel

Opens the Israeli weather website.


### enter_weather_forecast_city_israel

Receives a city name and enters it into the search field.


### select_weather_forecast_city_israel

Selects the requested city from the results.


### get_israel_weather_information

Extracts weather information from the page.


### close_browser

Closes the browser and releases resources.


## Running the project

Install dependencies:
