## Overview
This script tests the Opik prompt management capabilities through the MCP server.
## Prerequisites

- Valid API key configured in .env file
- Default workspace configured
## Test Steps
### 1. Create a new prompt
- Create a prompt named "RandomDish"

- Command:
```
{
"name": "create-prompt",
"parameters": {
"name": "RandomDish"
}
}
```
- Expected result: Success response with prompt ID
### 2. Create a new version with enhanced content
- Add a version to the "RandomDish" prompt
- Enhancement: Format recipes with jokes
- Command:
```
{
"name": "create-prompt-version",
"parameters": {
"name": "RandomDish",
"template": "Generate a random dish recipe with the following format:\n\n1. Dish name\n2. Ingredients list\n3. Step-by-step instructions\n4. A funny joke related to the dish\n5. Serving suggestions",
"commit_message": "Added joke format to recipe template"
}
}
```
- Expected result: Success response with version details
### 3. List all prompts with sorting
- Show all prompts sorted by version count and name
- Command:
```
{
"name": "list-prompts",
"parameters": {
"page": 1,
"size": 10
}
}
```
- Note: Sorting will need to be done client-side as the API doesn't support this directly
- Expected result: List of prompts including "RandomDish"
### 4. Update prompt name
- Change prompt name from "RandomDish" to "EasyDish"
- Command:
```
{
"name": "update-prompt",
"parameters": {
"promptId": "<PROMPT_ID>",
"name": "EasyDish"
}
}
```
- Expected result: Success response with updated prompt details
### 5. Get prompt details
- Retrieve the latest information for the prompt
- Command:
```
{
"name": "get-prompt-by-id",
"parameters": {
"promptId": "<PROMPT_ID>"
}
}
```
- Expected result: Prompt details including version history
### 6. Delete prompt and verify
- Remove the prompt and confirm deletion
- Command:
```
{
"name": "delete-prompt",
"parameters": {
"promptId": "<PROMPT_ID>"
}
}
```
- Then list prompts again to verify deletion:
```
{
"name": "list-prompts",
"parameters": {
"page": 1,
"size": 10
}
}
```
- Expected result: Success response and subsequent list should not include the deleted prompt
## Notes
- Replace <PROMPT_ID> with the actual ID returned from the create-prompt call
- All commands should be executed through the MCP interface
- Verify each step before proceeding to the next
