# Memory Server (MCP)

This repository contains a minimal **Memory Server** implemented with the MCP protocol (`FastMCP`).  
It exposes tools for:

- `save`, `get`, `delete`, `list_keys`
- Namespace‑aware variants: `save_with_namespace`, `get_by_namespace`

All data is persisted in `./memory_data.json` as JSON objects that include a timestamp.

## Usage

```bash
# Install dependencies
pip install -r requirements.txt

# Run the demo (which exercises all tools)
python main.py
```

The script will print a short demonstration of saving, retrieving, listing and deleting keys.  
No external server or TTY is required – everything runs locally in a single process.
