Server Configuration

Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

NameRequiredDescriptionDefault
WMD_CONFIGNoAbsolute path to the verifier TOML file describing each remote verifier's endpoint, the environment variable holding its key and where the score sits in the response. The file is found through the tool's `config_path` argument, then `WMD_CONFIG`, then `~/.config/watermark-detector/verifiers.toml`.
CLAUDE_DETECTOR_KEYNoExample of an API key named by the verifier TOML (via `api_key_env`). The server reads such keys from its process environment at call time and never prints, logs or returns them. The actual variable name(s) are whatever your TOML declares.
