`PATENT_MPEP_DEVICE`	No	Optional device used for MPEP search/indexing, e.g. gpu or cpu.
`GOOGLE_CLOUD_PROJECT`	Yes	Google Cloud project ID. Required for BigQuery patent search (100M+ worldwide patents). Set up with `gcloud auth application-default login` and `gcloud auth application-default set-quota-project your-project-id`.
`PATENT_MPEP_USE_HYDE`	No	Optional flag controlling HyDE query expansion for MPEP search (e.g. false).
`PATENT_ENABLE_METRICS`	No	Optional flag to enable metrics (e.g. true).
`PATENT_OPERATION_TIMEOUT`	No	Optional operation timeout in seconds (e.g. 300).
`CLAUDE_CODE_GIT_BASH_PATH`	No	Windows-only: path to Git Bash, required for the `claude mcp add` command on Windows, e.g. C:\Program Files\Git\bin\bash.exe
