Click on "Deploy Server".
Wait a few minutes for the server to deploy. Once ready, it will show a "Started" state.
In the chat, type
@followed by the MCP server name and your instructions, e.g., "@Sarvam AI MCP Servertranslate 'Good morning' to Marathi"
That's it! The server will respond to your query, and you can continue using it as needed.

Sarvam AI MCP Server is a lightweight, extensible MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that empowers LLM-based clients (Claude Desktop, Gemini CLI, Warp, etc.) with powerful Indic language processing capabilities including translation, transliteration, language identification, and access to the SarvamAI-M model.

1. Clone the Repository

Create or update the .env file with your API key:

This project uses pinned versions in requirements.txt and requirements-dev.txt for reproducibility.
For stricter reproducibility across environments, consider:

3. Docker Setup (Recommended)
Build the Docker image:
docker build -t sarvam .Run the container:
docker run -p 8080:8080 sarvam4. Alternative: Local Development Setup

The server reads SARVAM_API_KEY from environment variables. Do not send API keys in headers.

π± ngrok URLs: Remember that ngrok URLs change each time you restart ngrok
