Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| zone_name | No | The Cloudflare zone used for this mail. The usual pattern is to delegate a subdomain such as `mail.example.com` as its own zone. | |
| EMAIL_MODE | No | Controls outbound mail behavior. The root `wrangler.jsonc` sets `EMAIL_MODE=record`, which journals mail instead of sending it. Set to a sending mode to actually deliver outbound mail. | |
| mailbox_slugs | No | The list of mailbox slugs (one address per agent). Each agent address is generated as one Email Routing rule from this list; adding an address means updating it and redeploying the inbound Worker. | |
| mail_subdomain | No | The mail subdomain within the zone; set to `@` when the delegated zone is itself the mail zone. | |
| ENFORCE_KNOWN_AUTO | No | Set to `true` to actually enforce the `known-auto` review configuration. `known-auto` still waits for review unless this is set to `true`. |
