Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| ASTRA_DB_KEYSPACE | No | The keyspace to use for operations. If omitted, the server may use the database's default keyspace. | |
| ASTRA_MCP_READ_ONLY | No | Set to '1' to enable read-only mode, which removes all write tools. Any other value is treated as false. | |
| ASTRA_DB_API_ENDPOINT | No | The API endpoint for your Astra DB database. If not provided, the server will attempt to discover it using the token and database name. | |
| ASTRA_DB_APPLICATION_TOKEN | Yes | Astra DB application token. This is required to authenticate with the Astra DB API. |
