| LIFE_SIM_STATE_FILE | No | Absolute path to a private SQLite state file used for persistence. Reuse this path across sessions and upgrades, with only one server process per database. Without it, models, stories, and memory are lost when the process ends. | |
| MEANING_MODEL_ADDONS | No | Comma-separated optional add-ons to enable when starting the MCP server. Supported values include `storytelling`, `alien`, and `storytelling,alien`. Modeling and memory are always available; add-ons are opt-in. | |
| MEANING_MODEL_ESTIMATOR | No | Set to `typesafe` to use Jev for batched structured judgments. This is independent of the storytelling add-on and is off by default. |
