Servidor MCP de clima mundial. Convierte un nombre de lugar en coordenadas y luego devuelve las condiciones actuales a través de stdio para clientes MCP como Cursor.

Qué hace

El servidor registra una herramienta:

get-current-weather

location (ciudad o nombre de lugar, mínimo 2 caracteres)

Temperatura actual, sensación térmica, humedad, precipitación, viento, condición, día/noche, zona horaria y coordenadas

Ejemplos de location: Delhi, Greater Noida, Mumbai, London.

La geocodificación utiliza Open-Meteo Geocoding. Los datos de previsión utilizan Open-Meteo Forecast. Ninguna de las dos API requiere una clave para este uso.

Si varios lugares coinciden con un nombre, se utiliza el primer resultado de la geocodificación.

npm install

Ejecución

Desarrollo (TypeScript mediante tsx):

npm run dev

Producción:

npm run build
npm start

Este proceso se comunica por MCP a través de stdin/stdout. Los registros van a stderr. No lo ejecutes como una aplicación web normal.

Apunta el cliente a este directorio del proyecto:
