Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

Name	Required	Description
`MPQ_DB_URL`	No	Database connection URL, e.g. sqlite:////app/data/mpq.db or mysql+pymysql://user:password@host:3306/database?charset=utf8mb4.
`MPQ_MCP_TOKEN`	Yes	Administrator MCP bearer token. Used for the admin role; default responses are black-box, and view=business can be requested for internal checks.
`MPQ_SECRET_KEY`	No	Random long secret key for the application. Do not use example values in production.
`MPQ_MCP_ENABLED`	No	Set to 'true' to enable the MCP endpoint.
`MPQ_MCP_TRANSPORT`	No	MCP transport. Set to 'stdio' for local clients such as Claude Desktop; otherwise the server uses Streamable HTTP.
`MPQ_ENABLE_API_DOCS`	No	Set to 'true' to enable OpenAPI documentation. Defaults to false.
`MPQ_MCP_TOKEN_SALES`	No	Sales MCP bearer token. Grants only final quotes; the sales role can never retrieve material unit prices.
`MPQ_PRICE_TABLE_DIR`	No	Directory containing the Excel material price tables.
`MPQ_ALLOW_DEMO_RULES`	No	Set to 'true' to allow startup while app/pricing/rules.py still has IS_DEMO=True. Not for production quotes.
`MPQ_SALES_CAN_SEE_PRICE`	No	Set to 'true' to allow the sales role to see material prices. Defaults to false.
`MPQ_MCP_EXPOSE_SPEC_VOCABULARY`	No	Set to 'false' to disable the list_material_options tool. Defaults to true.
