Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| NODE_ENV | No | Controls Redis connection failure behavior: 'development' (default) - server continues with warning; 'production' - server exits if Redis fails. | development |
| AUTH_MODE | No | Sets the authentication mode: 'internal' (default) or 'external'. | internal |
| REDIS_TLS | No | Enable TLS for Redis connection. Set to '1' or 'true' to enable. | 0 |
| REDIS_URL | No | Redis connection URL. When set, sessions are stored in Redis. Default: not set (in-memory storage). Example: redis://localhost:6379 | |
| REDIS_PASSWORD | No | Redis password for authentication (if required). | |
| AUTH_SERVER_URL | No | URL of the external auth server. Required when AUTH_MODE=external, ignored when AUTH_MODE=internal. |
