Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| SPANNER_INSTANCE_ID | Yes | Target Spanner instance id. | |
| SPANNER_QUERY_TIMEOUT_MS | No | Per-query timeout (ms). Default 30000. | |
| GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS | Yes | Path to the service account JSON key file. |
