Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| OLLAMA_URL | No | Optional. URL of a local Ollama instance to use for AI-powered features. | |
| SECRET_KEY | Yes | Required. Used for encrypting sessions and other security purposes. Must be set when running from source; everything else is optional. | |
| IMAGE_MODEL | No | Optional. Model to use for generating preview images for cards without one. Examples: a Google image model (needs billing) or 'pollinations:flux' (free, keyless, soft). Empty means the built-in designed covers. | |
| GOOGLE_API_KEY | No | Optional. API key for Google AI services used to generate descriptions and select images. | |
| TRUSTED_PROXIES | No | Optional. Comma-separated list of trusted proxy IPs (e.g., Cloudflare, Traefik, nginx) when TLS is terminated upstream. Required to set Secure cookies behind a proxy. |
