Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| ANTHROPIC_API_KEY | No | Optional API key for answer synthesis. | |
| BRAVE_SEARCH_API_KEY | No | API key for Brave Search. One of BRAVE_SEARCH_API_KEY or TAVILY_API_KEY is required. | |
| REDDIT_CLIENT_SECRET | No | Reddit OAuth client secret, only needed for the 'praw' fetch backend. | |
| REDDIT_RESEARCH_MCP_TOKEN | No | Required bearer token when using HTTP transport. | |
| REDDIT_RESEARCH_MCP_TRANSPORT | No | Transport for the MCP server. Use 'http' for network deployment; defaults to 'stdio'. | stdio |
