Server Configuration

Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

NameRequiredDescriptionDefault
AERP_CREDENTIAL_MY_ODOONoThe Odoo credential (password or JSON-2 API key) for the profile the MCP server is started with, e.g. export AERP_CREDENTIAL_MY_ODOO='...'. It never goes into the profile; it can alternatively be given through the OS keyring (odoo-cli credential set --ref my-odoo --login ... --password-stdin) or a file. The server acts with the full authority of the profile's Odoo credential.
AERP_CREDENTIAL_<REF>_WEBNoThe web password for the profile's reference, required only to print PDFs over the JSON-2 protocol (--protocol json2), because Odoo serves reports only to a logged-in web session.
ASAO_ALLOW_PRIVATE_PROVIDER_ENDPOINTSNoSet to true to allow an Odoo on your own network. By default odoo-cli refuses loopback, private and link-local addresses; for an Odoo at localhost or 192.168.x.x, set ASAO_ALLOW_PRIVATE_PROVIDER_ENDPOINTS=true.false
