Telltale MCP Server
Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.
| Name | Required | Description | Default |
|---|---|---|---|
| DATABASE_URL | No | Neon Postgres connection string. Required in production: without it a production build refuses to start rather than silently using the embedded store. | |
| TELLTALE_PGLITE_DIR | No | Where the local embedded database lives. Defaults to ./.pglite. | |
| NEXT_PUBLIC_SITE_URL | No | Public production alias. Overrides metadata, sitemap and OpenGraph URLs. | |
| TELLTALE_ALLOW_EMBEDDED_STORE | No | 1 lets next build && next start run without a database. Local verification only; a real deployment never sets it. |
