Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.
| Name | Required | Description | Default |
|---|---|---|---|
| DEBUG | No | Set to "true" to log message text, for local debugging. | false |
| MCP_TOKEN | Yes | Secret your AI client sends, either as `Authorization: Bearer <MCP_TOKEN>` or as the URL `https://<worker>/mcp/<MCP_TOKEN>`. Must be different from FWRD_TOKEN; generate with `openssl rand -hex 32`. Until both secrets are set, the endpoints answer with an error naming the missing one. | |
| FWRD_TOKEN | Yes | Secret that forms the end of the webhook URL you paste into Fwrd (https://<worker>/fwrd/<FWRD_TOKEN>). Must be different from MCP_TOKEN; generate with `openssl rand -hex 32`. | |
| KEEP_SECONDS | No | How long each text is kept before deletion. Defaults to 15 minutes (900 seconds); set it lower to delete sooner. | |
| ALLOWED_ORIGINS | No | Comma-separated list of allowed `Origin` headers, set in wrangler.jsonc. A request whose Origin isn't on it gets 403; requests with no Origin are unaffected. While the list is empty, any Origin is accepted. |
