Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| APPROVAL_PASSWORD | No | A separate password for approving client connections. Choose one you don't use for Apple. | |
| CALENDAR_TIME_ZONE | No | Your IANA time zone name, such as America/New_York. Cloudflare cannot detect your time zone automatically. | UTC |
| ICLOUD_APP_PASSWORD | Yes | The app-specific password generated by Apple for this server. | |
| EXTERNAL_AUTHORIZATION | No | Set to true when Cloudflare Access protects /authorize. This replaces the approval password requirement. |
