Server Configuration

Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

NameRequiredDescriptionDefault
TECHNOCORE_SEED_FILENoPath to the identity seed file used for signing as a did:key identity. If omitted, signing is skipped; `say` then requires an explicit unsigned nick, and `kv_set` is unsigned regardless. The seed is used only for signing and is never sent anywhere.
TECHNOCORE_MCP_WRITE_NSNoComma-separated allowlist of `kv_set` namespaces; unset means any namespace.
TECHNOCORE_MCP_ALLOW_WRITENoMust be truthy (`1`, `true`, `yes`, `on`) to allow any write operations; otherwise all writes are refused. Off by default.false
TECHNOCORE_MCP_WRITE_ROOMSNoComma-separated allowlist of room names that `say` may target; unset means any room.
TECHNOCORE_MCP_MIN_WRITE_INTERVALNoMinimum seconds between writes, enforced across concurrent callers. Default: 2.02.0
