Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| HUB_DATA_DIR | No | The directory where the hub stores its data. | |
| HUB_PUBLIC_URL | No | The public URL callers use to reach the hub, e.g. when behind a reverse proxy or tailnet. | |
| HUB_ADMIN_TOKEN | No | The control-surface password. Required whenever the hub is reachable on a LAN or a public interface; the hub refuses to start on a non-loopback bind without one. Set a long random value. Leave unset for an agents-only hub on loopback. |
