Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| SDL_AUDIODRIVER | No | Optional environment setting. Offline FluidSynth subprocesses default SDL_AUDIODRIVER to dummy to avoid audio-device enumeration hangs in containers; this does not affect file synthesis. | |
| HERMES_DAW_STDIO_POLL | No | Optional compatibility setting for restricted Linux sandboxes that deny socketpair.send(). Set to 1 to enable a 50 ms event-loop timer so thread-based stdio can wake correctly. Normal desktop use does not require it. |
