Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| LLM_MODEL | No | Model identifier for the LLM planner, e.g., 'gpt-4o-mini'. | |
| LLM_API_KEY | No | API key for the LLM provider used by optional planning tools (jules_plan_tasks and jules_auto). | |
| LLM_BASE_URL | No | Base URL for an OpenAI-compatible /chat/completions endpoint. Defaults to https://api.openai.com/v1. | |
| JULES_API_KEY | Yes | Your Google Jules API key. Required for authentication. | |
| OPENAI_API_KEY | No | Fallback API key for OpenAI (recognized if LLM_API_KEY is not set). | |
| OPENROUTER_API_KEY | No | Fallback API key for OpenRouter (recognized if LLM_API_KEY is not set). | |
| JULES_DEFAULT_BRANCH | No | Default branch (e.g., 'main') used when a task does not specify one. | |
| JULES_DEFAULT_SOURCE | No | Default source (e.g., 'sources/github/owner/repo') used when a task does not specify one. |
