Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| --home | No | Absolute path to the Codex storage directory. Defaults to CODEX_HOME or ~/.codex; replace when Codex uses a different storage directory. | |
| --helper | No | Absolute path to the qualified codex-session-gc-native helper. If omitted, the server discovers the qualified helper using the same rules as Textual. | |
| --receipt-dir | No | Absolute path to the durable receipt directory, which must be outside the selected Codex home. Defaults to the user's state directory. |
