Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| GOOGLE_MAPS_API_KEY | Yes | Google Maps Platform API key used for Geocoding, Solar API and Weather API calls. Without it the server can only run in keyless modes (synthetic fixtures or the NWS forecast fallback). | |
| IRRADIANCECREW_LIVE | No | Set to 0 to disable the live upstream tests (as done in CI); live tests then print a skipped line. | |
| IRRADIANCECREW_GEMINI_MODEL | No | Optional override of the Gemini model id used for optional brief wording (default gemini-3.1-flash-lite). |
