anon_patch_qq_binding_group_open_id

Destructive

Set or replace the subscription message types for a QQ group binding. Use an empty array to disable all group notifications for that binding.

Instructions

TDQS

A4.3/5.0
Behavior4/5

Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?

Annotations already declare destructiveHint=true and idempotentHint=false, and the description reinforces this by stating that types wholly overwrites the group's subscriptions. It also adds valuable context beyond the annotations: the project:manage permission requirement and that the project is inferred from the API key.

Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.

Conciseness4/5

Is the description appropriately sized, front-loaded, and free of redundancy?

Purpose is front-loaded, followed by permission, replace semantics, and the endpoint. Dense and mostly waste-free, though the enum list duplicates the input schema and adds some redundancy.

Shorter descriptions cost fewer tokens and are easier for agents to parse. Every sentence should earn its place.

Completeness4/5

Given the tool's complexity, does the description cover enough for an agent to succeed on first attempt?

There is no output schema, but for a mutation tool the description covers permission, the overwrite semantics, the empty-array edge case, and ID resolution. Return values are not described, which is the main missing element.

Complex tools with many parameters or behaviors need more documentation. Simple tools need less. This dimension scales expectations accordingly.

Parameters4/5

Does the description clarify parameter syntax, constraints, interactions, or defaults beyond what the schema provides?

Schema description coverage is 0%, so the description must compensate. It does well for the body.types parameter: deduplication, wholesale-replace semantics, the seven allowed values, and the empty-array behavior. The path.groupOpenId parameter is only implied by name, so there is a small remaining gap.

Input schemas describe structure but not intent. Descriptions should explain non-obvious parameter relationships and valid value ranges.

Purpose5/5

Does the description clearly state what the tool does and how it differs from similar tools?

States a specific verb and resource: 配置单个群的订阅消息类型 (configure the subscription message types of a single group). Combined with the PATCH endpoint and the resource path, an agent can distinguish this from the sibling anon_delete_qq_binding_group_open_id without opening the schema.

Agents choose between tools based on descriptions. A clear purpose with a specific verb and resource helps agents select the right tool.

Usage Guidelines4/5

Does the description explain when to use this tool, when not to, or what alternatives exist?

Provides clear context: requires project:manage permission, and specifies that types wholly replaces the group's subscription set. It does not explicitly name when to prefer this over alternatives, but the operation is distinct enough that no ambiguity arises.

Agents often have multiple tools that could apply. Explicit usage guidance like "use X instead of Y when Z" prevents misuse.
