## Tools

### 1. `hire_post_task`

Post a new task to the marketplace.

### 2. `hire_search_tasks`

Search for open tasks, optionally filtering by capability.

### 3. `hire_submit_bid`

Submit a bid on an open task.

Accept a bid, rejecting all other bids on the same task and creating an escrow.

### 5. `hire_confirm_completion`

Confirm task completion and release escrow payment to the agent.

Raise a dispute on a task, freezing escrow funds until manually resolved.

## Installation

```bash
pip install -r requirements.txt
```

## Usage

Run the server:

python server.py
```

By default the server uses stdio transport (standard MCP convention). Configure with your MCP client (Claude Desktop, Cursor, etc.):

## Data Storage

All data is stored as JSON files in `~/.agenthire/`:

No external database required.

## Lifecycle

1. **Post** a task → status: `open`
2. **Search** for open tasks and **bid**
3. **Accept** a bid → status: `assigned`, escrow created (held)
4. **Confirm completion** → escrow released, status: `completed`
5. **Dispute** (at any point) → status: `disputed`, escrow frozen
