Export several reports

report_export_batch
Read-onlyIdempotent

Exports multiple Booksy reports for a chosen date range sequentially; failed reports do not stop the batch, while a block or budget limit ends it and saved reports are listed.

Instructions

Saves several reports for one period, strictly one after another, with a pause. A report that fails does not stop the others. A block by Booksy or a used-up budget ends the batch, and what was saved until then is listed. In safe mode a batch can have at most 5 reports.

TDQS

A3.8/5.0
Behavior4/5

Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?

Annotations already cover safety (readOnly, idempotent, non-destructive), and the description adds substantial behavior beyond them: sequential execution with a pause, per-report failure isolation, batch termination on a Booksy block or exhausted budget, and that partial results are still listed. It stops short of describing output shape or what the 'pause' actually is, so it is strong but not complete.

Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.

Conciseness4/5

Is the description appropriately sized, front-loaded, and free of redundancy?

Four short sentences, front-loaded with the action and then layered with failure and termination semantics; little waste. 'With a pause' and 'safe mode' are the only vague fragments that fail to earn full weight.

Shorter descriptions cost fewer tokens and are easier for agents to parse. Every sentence should earn its place.

Completeness4/5

Given the tool's complexity, does the description cover enough for an agent to succeed on first attempt?

With no output schema, the description does at least say partial results are listed, and all five parameters are schema-documented. It is adequate for a batch export, though the return shape and the meaning of safe mode are left to the caller.

Complex tools with many parameters or behaviors need more documentation. Simple tools need less. This dimension scales expectations accordingly.

Parameters4/5

Does the description clarify parameter syntax, constraints, interactions, or defaults beyond what the schema provides?

Schema coverage is 100%, so baseline is 3, but the description adds real meaning: all report_keys share one period ('for one period'), and the safe-mode limit of 5 reports tightens the schema's maxItems of 30. The 'pause' and 'safe mode' concepts remain undefined.

Input schemas describe structure but not intent. Descriptions should explain non-obvious parameter relationships and valid value ranges.

Purpose4/5

Does the description clearly state what the tool does and how it differs from similar tools?

States a specific verb and resource ('Saves several reports for one period') and makes the batch semantics explicit, which separates it from the single-report sibling report_export. It does not name that sibling directly, so the differentiation is implied rather than stated.

Agents choose between tools based on descriptions. A clear purpose with a specific verb and resource helps agents select the right tool.

Usage Guidelines3/5

Does the description explain when to use this tool, when not to, or what alternatives exist?

Usage is implied by 'several reports for one period' and by the safe-mode cap of 5 reports, which tells the agent the batch is bounded. However, it never says when to prefer report_export instead, nor what conditions qualify as 'safe mode', leaving the choice between the two export tools to inference.

Agents often have multiple tools that could apply. Explicit usage guidance like "use X instead of Y when Z" prevents misuse.
