Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| LOINC_PASSWORD | No | LOINC account password. This value is automatically encrypted when using EncryptedField. | |
| LOINC_USERNAME | No | LOINC account username. | |
| TRANSPORT_MODE | No | Transport mode for the MCP server. Set to stdio, http, or https. | |
| EMBEDDING_MODEL | No | Hugging Face embedding model name (e.g. NeuML/pubmedbert-base-embeddings). | |
| FHIR_SERVER_HOST | Yes | FHIR API host URL (e.g. https://api.medplum.com). | |
| PINECONE_API_KEY | No | Pinecone API key for vector-based document search. Required for semantic retrieval features. This value is automatically encrypted when using EncryptedField. | |
| FHIR_SERVER_CLIENT_ID | Yes | OAuth2 client ID for the FHIR server. | |
| FHIR_SERVER_CLIENT_SECRET | Yes | OAuth2 client secret for the FHIR server. This value is automatically encrypted when using EncryptedField. |
