Local MCP server for 1C development in Cursor: platform help + XML project.

What is MCP?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a protocol through which Cursor connects to external tools. The 1c-dev-mcp server gives the AI access to 1C help and to the exported XML configuration without manually copying files.

Quick start

  1. Python 3.11+

  2. Run the installer:

cd "C:\Users\twost\Desktop\MCP Help\1c-dev-mcp"
.\install.ps1 -PlatformPath "C:\Program Files (x86)\1cv8t\8.3.27.1508"

  1. Restart Cursor

  2. Open the folder with the XML export of the configuration

  3. In the chat, ask the agent to call doctor, then set_platform_version("8.3.27")

Important about your platform

The path C:\Program Files (x86)\1cv8t\8.3.27.1508 is a training/technical platform (1cv8t).

In bin, shquery_root.hbk (the query language help) was found, but there is no shcntx_ru.hbk (full API help: ТаблицаЗначений, methods, types).

For scenarios like “how does a platform method work”, a full 1cv8 installation with shcntx_ru.hbk is required. The Project Layer (metadata, XML code) works independently.
