Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

Name	Required	Description
`ENABLE_3D`	No	Set to 'true' to enable the 3D solid tools (solid_box/cylinder/extrude/revolve/boolean) on live AutoCAD. Unset by default, in which case 242 tools are advertised instead of 247.
`TOOL_PACKS`	No	Comma-separated list of tool packs to advertise, e.g. 'all' (default), 'core', 'settings', 'mech', 'arch', 'pid', 'plant'. Restricts the client from paying for tracks it does not use (e.g. 'core,mech').
`TOOL_PROFILE`	No	Selects the advertised tool surface. 'full' (default) advertises 242 tools; 'lean' advertises 65 tools at a much lower idle token cost.
`ALLOWED_PATHS`	No	Restricts the filesystem paths the server is allowed to access, e.g. the user's AutoCAD documents folder.
`DISCOVERY_MODE`	No	Discovery mode replaces the full catalog with two tools at ~356 tokens. 'off' (default) advertises the selected profile; 'search' enables ranked tool discovery via search_tools.
`EZDXF_UNDO_DEPTH`	No	Opt-in undo history depth for the ezdxf (headless) backend.
`AUTOCAD_MCP_BACKEND`	No	Selects the backend engine. One of 'auto' (default), 'ezdxf' (portable DXF, no AutoCAD needed) or 'com' (live AutoCAD; requires the [com] extra).

Guidance the server publishes about itself, which clients place ahead of the tool catalog so the model reads it before choosing anything.
